Too Much

So I got in a nice ride today with Danny B. and Carl F. Carl had a route plotted out in is head that ultimately destroyed both him and Dan. We basically did a partial of the covered bridge ride backwards via Old Antonia. There was a 3 tier hill that got steeper and steeper at every level. I had never been that far off of the normal route before and may find myself looking for that one again. It wasn't quite as long as the three main climbs of the ride but it was much steeper.

Isn't Wedde Rd fun? And the good part is that it is right off Old Lemay

That climb was just wrong. We started up the first section and it wasn't bad. Then I saw a car in the distance that was at a much higher altitude than we were and not that far away (second section). I thought Damn. Then I had to laugh it off cause shortly after starting the second section I saw what appeared to be a driveway in the much higher distance that turned out to be the much steeper final section. I would do that ride again.

Sounds like you went up the east side. The eastern "slope" is no piece of cake either. No leveling off sections get some momentum. First time I climbed Wedde was from the west. Unknowingly I left the house with only a 21 in the rear. *grunt* I was lightheaded at the top.

I mean the western slope is no piece of cake.
